A New Breed of Neighborhood Electric Vehicle
Introducing the first working class Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. The EV2/CEV2 Cruiser is a multi-purpose 2WD electric vehicle with performance and power to not only transport people but also haul cargo. The high torque 16 Hp motor is capable of speeds up to 25 mph and delivers a full 1/2 ton of payload capacity. The more robust suspension on the EV2 is designed especially for hauling cargo. Best of all the EV2/CEV2 model qualifies for both the 50% state income tax and $4,234.72 federal income tax credits.
The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act (EESA) offers a tax credit for qualified plug-in electric vehicles of $2,500 PLUS $417 for every kilowatt hour in excess of 4KW. The NEV2, NEV4 and EV2 have an 8.10 Kilowatt Hour Capacity. Based on this formula, the tax credit can be calculated as follows:
$2,500+($417x4.10)=$4,234.72 Credit
